Protective Styling for a TWA: Flat Twists & Frohawks

My absolute favorite style for my twa! Flat twisted sides and a frohawk. This was my Easter do and it came out great. It's simple and quick if you've perfected flat twisting. The photos above show the set and results featuring my new baby girl Mikaela. Lol.

Tools Used
spray bottle (water, glycerin, vo5 conditioner, jojoba and grape seed oils)
• rat tail comb
• hair clips for sectioning
• twisting butter/pudding (I used my favorite Jane Carter Solutions Nourish and Shine)

Tips
• I made sure my hair was damp or almost dry hair and applied the Nourish and Shine to each section prior to twisting.
• I first started doing this style when my hair was about 2in long. It is now 3-4in long.
• Handle edges with care making sure they are thoroughly moisturized before twisting.
• Make sure ends are moisturized and sealed well for best results.
• Retwist at night for maintenance and moisturize when needed.

As always, Thanks for reading!! Stay Koily and Kute ;-*
